Hi fellow pickers and strummers.

I have been playing guitar for 35 years. In that time I have developed an ear for not only what is good guitar playing but also what is a good sounding guitar.

Although I have dabbled in many styles of playing over the years – on nylon-string, steel-string and electric guitars – for the last 10 years I have concentrated mainly on steel-string acoustic fingerstyle playing.

In 2005 I gave up the day job (teaching mathematics) and took up teaching, playing, building and repairing guitars full-time.
